In a victory for landowners, the office of the valuer-general no longer has the final say with regards to the amount landowners can be compensated by the state to acquire their properties.
Peter Rutsch veteran land lawyer has passed over. Covid 19 has claimed another victim.
Rutsch was born in 1941. He worked for the LRC, had an association with AFRA, worked on evictions before leaving in 1996 to work independently. A great loss to his family and the land sector
